We are an independent boiler repair Bromsgrove and maintenance company and have been trading for over 10 years, we work in domestic, commercial, industrial, and the care home environment.

Commercial gas engineer

Vacancy for a Gas Safe engineer undertaking plumbing services and maintenance on gas-fired boilers and heating systems to include call-outs and repairs. Commercial Gas Safe qualifications essential.

Details:

  • Minimum of 10 years commercial gas experience required.
  • Salary: £35,000.00 per year with relative experience
  • Full-time and permanent
  • OTE £50k

Multi-skilled Engineer

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant qualifications. You will be ideally mechanically based with commercial plumbing and heating service experience. Central heating knowledge and experience essential and good knowledge of system design.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and ambitious individual that is willing to work as part of a small team. 

Principle Duties And Responsibilities, But Not Limited To:

  • Ensure the highest standards are delivered. 
  • Deliver boiler installation maintenance and servicing to clients in and around the Birmingham area.
  • Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
  • Provide technical support, advice and guidance to the Customer and Team.

Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required:

 

  • GCSE in English and Math’s or Equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heating and ventilation/ gas.
  • Commercial Gas safe qualification COCN1, CODCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1 (desirable) TPCP1A, TPCP1, CORT1. 
  • F-gas qualified (desirable).
  • Unvented hot water (desirable).
  • IPAF (desirable)

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role:

  • Strong, demonstrable competencies of dealing with building services plant.
  • Knowledge and experience operating and adjusting Building Management Systems (BMS) (Desirable).
  • Knowledge and experience of working on HVAC systems.
  • 3 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery.
  • Background in property maintenance (Desirable).
  • Ability to manage priorities in line with business needs.
  • Ability to turn hand to most activities within a building maintenance environment.
